Thai student wins the grand prize at Asia Student Package Design Competition in Japan

 

After completing the screening in Thailand in October, 2018, the Japan Foundation, Bangkok and Thai Package Design Association have selected 3 student representatives from Thailand to join the final round of Asia Student Package Design Competition (ASPaC) in Tokyo, Japan.

 

 

The award ceremony was held on December, 4. The grand Prize, the first place, was presented to Ms. Kulisara Sombutphiboonporn, Silpakorn University, for the work titled Kidicine. The Japan Foundation Awards went to Ms. Sitanun Boonyayothin, Silpakorn University, for the work titled One Shot. And, the Honorable Awards went to Mr.Rutthawitch Akkachairin,  King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, for the work titled 1TOOL3.

In 2018, there were 3,500 design works submitted  by students from 10 countries and this is the first year that the Grand Prize was presented to Thailand. The selected works from each country will be exhibited at GOOD DESIGN Marunouchi from 6-15 December 2018. Once again, the Japan Foundation, Bangkok would like to extend our congratulations to Thai students on your achievements and express our gradtitude to all Thai advisors from universities for actively supporting this program as well as to all students for their hard working and dedication for ASPaC2018.
