The Japan Foundation, Bangkok calls for applications of Grant Program for Intellectual Exchange Conference Fiscal 2014-2015. The program opens to such organizations as universities, research institutes, inter-governmental organizations (IGOs), non-government organizations (NGOs), and other types of non-profit organizations (NPOs). It is highly recommended that those organizations which intend to apply for grants to partially cover the expense of implementing international intellectual collaborative projects are required to submit two-to-three page concept papers (A4 size) beforehand. The concept paper should include the content of the project – e.g. project title and duration, objective, focal points, main participants, expected result, and budget plan – in accordance with the program instructions. And, it should provide basic information of international collaborations between Japan and other countries in Asia and other regions. It is preferable that the reference documents of the applicants be attached to the concept papers as well.
After the pre-screening of all concept papers, the Japan Foundation, Bangkok will suggest those qualified and eligible organizations to submit the full applications no later than December 2nd, 2013 (Mon.). The official application forms and other grant programs of the Japan Foundation can be downloaded from the website of the Japan Foundation at https://www.jpf.go.jp/e/program/intel.html#2-1
