Announcement for re-opening The Japan Foundation, Bangkok Library

The Japan Foundation, Bangkok Library will be re-opened from Thursday, June 4 2020. However, to continue preventing the spreading of COVID-19, some restrictions below will be applied during this time. We will update the information in advance as necessary if there are some changes in these restrictions below. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and your kind cooperation would be highly appreciated.

 

1. Due to sanitizing before and after service hours, the opening time of library will be changed to 10 am – 6 pm on weekdays and 10 am – 4 pm on Saturdays.
2. Library will check the temperature of users before entering the library, please refrain from using the library when the temperature is over 37.5℃.
3. Please scan QR-code “Thai Chana” at the counter before and after using the library. If you do not have a mobile phone or your phone can not use the Internet, please fill in the form at library’s counter.
4. Please clean your hands with provided alcohol gel while using the library.
5. Please always wear face mask in the library.
6. For the time being, please be informed that only borrow and return service will be provided. Reading spaces, DVD spaces and newspaper-magazines service will be suspended for a while.
7. For cleanliness and safety to users, all returned books will be sanitized with alcohol-based sanitizer and keep them for 24 hours before returning to shelf.
8. Please keep physical distancing (social distancing) while using the library at least 1 meter to each other. Also the number of users will be limited to 15 persons per time.

 

Users may not be able to enter the library unless they agree to these measures above.
