Kadokura and Mizuta have been friends for more than 20 years despite their differences in personality. Mizuta’s wife, Tami, and Kadokura sense a mutual attraction which they try to conceal. When Mizuta is seduced by a geisha, Kadokura decides that, with his good looks, charm and money,he will steal her away to ease Tami’s pain. As a result,he alienates his wife and ruins his friendship with Mizuta. When Kadokura hears that Mizuta’s company is to transfer him to Java, he drops by to bid farewell. For the first time in a long time, Kadokura, Mizuta and Tami relax over sake just like old times. |
