This is a story of a physically handicapped but extremely well adjusted young woman named Noriko. The title role was played by Ms. Noriko TSUJI herself. The film begins with her telling her personal history in a high school classroom just before graduation. She talks about difficulties and prejudices she and her mother experienced when she entered a primary school. She was finally allowed to enter Sekidai Primary School by its head teacher who believed that she, having the disadvantage of lacking arms, had no disability. Since then her challenges started as to what she could do with her feet. Now employed in the Kumamoto Municipal office in Kyushu, this is her first professional position, and she carries it off with great skill.

เรื่องนี้เป็นเรื่องราวจากชีวิตจริงของเด็กสาวชื่อ โนริโกะ ทสึจิ ผู้ไม่ยอมแพ้ต่อความพิการของตนเอง เรื่องเริ่มขึ้นที่ห้องเรียนมัธยมปลายของเธอช่วงก่อนจบการศึกษา เธอกำลังเล่าถึงความยากเย็นและอคติต่างๆที่ เธอและแม่ของเธอต้องพบตอนเธอเริ่มเข้าโรงเรียนประถม แต่ในที่สุดเธอก็ได้เข้าเรียนที่โรงเรียนประถม เซคิได เพราะอาจารย์ใหญ่ของโรงเรียนนั้นเชื่อว่าเธอไม่ได้ไร้ความสามารถทั้งๆที่เธอพิการไม่มีแขน นับแต่ตอนนั้นเองที่เธอเริ่มคิดว่าเธอสามารถใช้เท้าทำอะไรได้บ้าง จนถึงตอนนี้เธอได้เข้าทำงานที่เทศบาลเมือง คุมาโมโตะ ที่ คิวชิว

Japan, 1968, during the time of conflict between Korean residents in Japan and the local Japanese, a young Japanese boy falls in love with a young Korean girl. He tries to cross the wall between their ethnicity and succeeds by befriending her older brother and his gang. He then learns about the anger felt by the Korean community.

ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ปี 1968 ช่วงที่เต็มไปด้วยความขัดแย้งระหว่างชาวญี่ปุ่น และชาวเกาหลีที่อาศัยอยู่ในญี่ปุ่น เมื่อเด็กหนุ่มญี่ปุ่นนิสัยดีคนหนึ่งไปหลงรักสาวน้อยชาวเกาหลี เขาเริ่มผูกมิตรกับแก๊งของพี่ชายของเธอ และได้รับรู้ถึงความคับแค้นใจที่ชาวเกาหลีในญี่ปุ่นมีต่อชาวญี่ปุ่นที่เป็นเจ้าของประเทศ

The story of Satoka, a high school student whose mother is battling cancer. She finds an old love letter from Shinichiro, her mother’s first love, and becomes determined to fulfill her mother’s wish to meet him once again.

เรื่องราวของของ ซาโตกะ นักเรียนมัธยมปลายที่แม่ของเธอป่วยเป็นมะเร็ง เธอได้พบจดหมายรักของ ชินอิจิโระ ผู้เป็นรักแรกของแม่ และอยากจะทำสิ่งที่แม่ปรารถนาให้สำเร็จ นั่นก็คือการได้พบกับเขาอีกครั้ง

At first glance, Shota seems like an ordinary fifth-grade boy spending summer vacation by the sea with his aunt and playing mischievously with friends. However, this summer is different because his father is seriously ill in the hospital.

เมื่อมองเผิน ๆ โชตะก็ดูเหมือนเด็กชั้น ป.5 ทั่วไปที่พบเจอได้ในช่วงปิดเทอมฤดูร้อน เขาไปอาศัยกับป้าริมทะเล และเล่นซุกซนกับเพื่อน ๆ ทว่าปิดเทอมครั้งนี้กลับแตกต่างออกไป เมื่อพ่อของเขาป่วยอยู่ที่โรงพยาบาล
